HESOLVE i.S l"OLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public interest, convonience and necessity
require that 6" concrGte gutters, 6" concrete aprons and 2~'" asphaltic
concrete pavement be constructed upon and along the first alley south
of Alta Street and other alleys in said City.
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provi s ions of an Act of the
Legislature of the State of California, designated as the Spec ial
InvestiGation, Limitation and ;,:ajori ty Protest Act of 1931, being
Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, it is hereby determined
that the nature, location and extent of the proposed concrete sidewalks
shall be in accordance with plans heretofore prepared by the City
Engineer' of the City of Arcadia and which ~re shown on Plan No. c-187, which
were on the 21st day of j,larch, 1950, filed wi th the City Clerk of the
City of Arcadia and reference is hereby made to said plans so filed for
all particulars relative to the nature, location and extent of said
proposed improvement, and it is hereby ordered that said plans be made
open to the inspection of any person or persons desiring to inspect the same.
SECTION 3. That the district to be specially assessed to pay the
cost of said improvement shall include all that portion of the City of
Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, shown on map of
Assessment District No. W-59 included within the colored boundary line,
which said map was, on the 21st day of March, 1950, filed with said Clerk
and which said map shall p,overn for all details as to the extent of said
Assessment District.
SECTION 4. It is hereby deterMined that the proposed improvement
and all proceedings for the issuance and payment of Street Improvement
Bonds representing assessments for the cost therof, and provisions for
all other acts necessary to conduct the proposed oroceedings shall be

conducted under the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the
State of California designated as the Improvement Act of 1911, being
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, California,
held on the
