A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING TO THE IMPROVE- MENT BY THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES OF LAS TUNAS DRIVE, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA, AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH LIVE OAK AVENUE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. WHEREAS, by the provisions of Resolution No. 1945 of the City of Arcadia, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles were requested by this Council to appropriate from gasoline tax funds the sum of $5,000.00, for the purpose of improv- ing the following described public streets in the City of Arcadia, to wit: Las Tunas Drive at its intersection with Live Oak Avenue and Santa Anita Avenue (Double Drive) at its intersection with Live Oak Avenue, by the installation of traffic control signals and work appurtenant thereto, the City of Arcadia consenting to the improve- ment of said pUblic streets; and WHEREAS, certain changes and additions have been recommended by the Road Department of the County of Los Angeles to the plan heretofore submitted to the City of Arcadia, such changes and additions to provide more efficient channelization of the traffic on said streets: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed plan, of the County of Los Angeles for additions to the wort appurten- ant to the installation and operation of the aforesaid traffic sig- nals and for adequate traffic control at said intersections be and the same is hereby approved, permission of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to such changes and additions in said work being hereby expressly given to the County of Los Angeles, in accordfince with the attached plan of such work, being Signal No. TS-395,0.T.S.173j 1. !NDEXED SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopt- ed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 2nd day of M~y, 1950, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES.: NOES: Councilmen Kennett, Klomp, Nottingham, Schmocker and Sullivan None ABSENT: None City Clerk of the City 0 Arcadia.
