HomeMy WebLinkAbout1808 RESOLUTION NO. 1808 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA REQUESTING THE PERMISSION OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO WIDEN AND IMPROVE A PORTION OF HUNTINGTON DRIVE IN SAID CITY, ADJACENT TO THE COUNTY PARK. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That permission be and is hereby reqQested of the County of Los Angeles for the City of Arcadia to widen the Southerly side of Huntington Drive, between Santa Anita Avenue and the Pacific Electric Railway tracks in said City, by the construction of concrete curb and gutter and six-inch asphaltic concrete pavement, said curb line to be thirty-eight (38) feet south of the center line of Huntington Drive; the cost of such work to be borne by the City of Arcadia. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk forthwith forward a copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County, with a request th!t such Board give its prompt approval to this plan for the improvement of this portion of Huntington Drive, which abuts the County Park on the north. SECTION 3. Till City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
