RESOLUTION NO. 1829
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM COMPENSATIONS
FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, EFFECTIVE AS OF
FEBRUARY 1, 1949.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLO~S:
SECTION 1. iffiEREAS, this City Council has caused a wage survey
to be made of the compensation of employees of the City of Arcadia, and
~HEREAS, this City Council has considered the findings
made in said survey, and
WHER~, this City Council deems it to be to the best
interests of the City of Arcadia and its employees that the minimum
and maximum compensations heretofore fixed by the provisions of
Resolution No. 1776, adopted June 30, 1948, for various classifications
of Elmployment in the various dep!l[' tments of t he City of Arcadia be
modified and adjusted and that there be substituted therefor the minimum
and maximum compensations for all positions, whether or not such positions
be presentlyincluded in the competitive service, as hereinafter provided:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVED that the minimum com-
pensation as of date of employment and the maximum compensation for
such employment shall be as hereinafter set forth, and shall be effective
as of February 1, 1949;
that said minimum and maximum compensations
are as follows, towit:

SECTION 2.. Resolution No. 1776, adopted June 30, 1948, is:
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held
on the 1st day of February, 1949, by the affirmative vote of at least
three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Boucher, Klomp, Libby, Nugent and Russell
