HomeMy WebLinkAbout1832 RESOLUTION NO. 1832 ., A RESOLUTION OF THb CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARIJG CERTAIN STREETS ITITHIN SAID CITY TO BE 1~JOR CITY STREETS OTHER THAN STATE HIGHWAYS. THE CITx COUNCILOF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That in accordance with the provisions of Sections 2052 and 2053, Chapter 2, Division 3 of the Streets and Highways Code, the following described streets in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, are hereby declared to be major city streets (other than a State Highway), and to bec~e and be a part of the system of major city streets, towit: (a) 1. First Avenue from Foothill Boulevard to Camino Real. 2. Second Avenue from Foothill Boulevard to the southerly city boundary at Live Oak Avenue. 3. Sixth Avenue from the northerly city boundary near DUarte Road to the southerly city boundary near Live Oak Avenue. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and he is hereby authorized and instructed to file a Certified Copy of this Resolution in the office of the State Highway Department of the State of California, at its offices in the City of Los Angeles, State of California, the approval of the Department of Public Works being here- by requested. I HBREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 1st day of February, 1949, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, towit: AYES NOES ABSE1IT : Councilmen, None None Boucher, Klomp, Libby, Nugent, and Russell.
