DETERMINING AND DECLARING THAT THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF ELDORADO STREET, FANO STREET, GENOA STREET, ALICE STREET, AND SANTA ANITA AVENUE, (EAST LANE) IN SAID CITY IS FEASIBLE AND THAT THE LANDS TO BE ASSESSED WILL BE ABLE TO CARRY THE BURDEN OF SUCH PROPOSED ASSESSMENT. THE CITY COUNCIL O~ THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES'HEREBY RESOLVE, ORDER. AND DETERMI}lli AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after a public hearing duly held in conformance with the provisions of ~esolution No. 1837 of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, adopted and approved February 15, 1949, and upon consideration of the report prepared by the City Engineer and approved by the City Council by the terms of said Resolution, this Council hereby finds and determines that the proposed improvement of Eldorado Street, Fano Street, Genoa Street, Alice Street and Santa Anita Avenue (East Land) in said City of Arcadia by the construction of concrete curbs and gutters, concrete sidewalks and oil macadam pavement upon and along portions of said streets in accordance with plans shown on Plan No. C-177 heretofore approved by this Council is feasible, that the lands to be as- sessed, as shown on map of Assessment District No. W-49 included within the colored boundary line, will be able to carry the burden of such proposed a3sessment and that the limitations on the amounts of assess- ments provided for by "The Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931", being Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. may be disregarded, both wi th respect to the limitation on the said district as a whole and as to the limitation on individual specific assessments. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held -1- INDEXEQ on the 19th day of April, 1949, by t~e affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to~it: AYES : Councilmen, Boucher, Klomp.
