RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1876
I
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING ITS INTENTIO,{ TO CHANGE SET-BACK LIN"ES ON .t'OR-
TIONS OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD, A PUBLIC STREE'r IN THE CITY
OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That applications have heretofore been filed with
the City Council of the City of Arcadia, requesting a change in the
hereinafter described set-back lines, and that the said set-back
lines be changed in accordance with said applica~ons and as des-
cribed in this resolution.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require'
and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
to change set-back lines on the following described portions of
Foothill Boulevgrd, a public street in said City of Arcadia, towit:
On the northerly side of Foothill Boulevard from a point
486.67 feet west of Second Avenue to the easterly boundary
of the City of Arcadia and on the southerly side of Foot-
hill Boulevard from Wigwam Avenue to said easterly boundary,
the set-back lines heretofore established at fifteen (l5)
feet, by the provisions of Ordinance No. 467 of the City of
Arcadia, adopted November l~, 1941, shall be eliminated.
SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday the 5th day
of July, 1949, at 8:00 o'clock P. M., of said day, in the Council
Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia,
any and all persons having objections to elimination of said set-back
lines may appear before said City Council and show cause why said set-
back lines should not be changed in accordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause
to be posted along the portions of said street along which 'it is pro-
posed to change and re-establish said set-back lines, at not more than
three hundred (300') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3)

in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify t 0 the adoption of this
Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia
Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, published
and circulmted in the City of Arcadia, and hereby designated fortthat
purpose.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia,
held on the 7th day of June, 1949, by the affirmative vote of at least
three Councilmen, towit:
