RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1881
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DE-
CLARING ITS INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SETBACK LINES ON A ~ORTION
OF A CERTAIN STRE~T, TO~IT: SECO;ID AVENUE, IN TIill CITY OF
ARCADIA.
TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ~hat the PlanninB Commission of the City of Arcadia
has recommended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia th$ setback
lines be established on a portion of the street hereinafter described
in this Resolution.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require, and
it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, to
change the setback lines and to re-establish the same upon the following
described street in the City of Arcadia:
(a) A setback line distant 27 feet Westerly from and parallel
to the Westerly line of Second Avenue, alonB and in front
of the North 94 feet of the East 80.92 feet of the South
one-half of Lot 47, Arcadia Acreage Tract, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 10
page 18 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County.
SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on the 19th day of July,1949,
at 8:00 o'clock P. M., of said day, in the Council Chamber of said City
Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia, any and all persons
having any objections to said proposed setback lines may appear before
said City Council and show cause why said proposed setback lines should
not be changed and re-established in accordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be
posted along such portion of said street along which it is proposed to
fix and establish said setback lines, at not more than three hundred
(300) feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices
of the passage of this Resolution of Intention.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution~ and shall cause the same to be published once in the

Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation,
pUblished and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby design-
ated for that purpose,
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of In-
tention was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Arcadia, held on the 21st day of June, 1949, by the
afrirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, towit:
AYES: Councilmen Boucher, Klomp, Libby, Nugent and Russell
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
