HomeMy WebLinkAbout1904 R~SOLu~ION NO. 1904 A RESOLUTIOrJ OF' 'l'HE CITY COUNCIL OF' TeE CITY OF' ARCADIA DESIGNATING POR'l'IONS OF' CERThIN INTZRSECTIONS OF PUBLIC STREETS IN SAID CITY AS STOP INTERSECTIONS A~~ DIRECTING THE PLACING AND lIiAINTAIi'iDG OF "STOP SIGNS" AT CERTAIN ENTRANCES THERETO. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF &RCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES l-T.EREBY DETERIvIHE, RESOLVE A:m ORDER AS FOLLOViS: SECTION 1. That the followinG described intersections of certain public streets in the City of Arcadia under the exclusive jurisdiction of the City Council of the City of Arcadia are hereby designated as stop intersections in accordance with the provisions of Section 37 of Ordinance No. 728 of the City of Arcadia, towit: (a) Holly Avenue at its intersection with Las Tunas Drive; SECTION 2. The City "ngineer of said City is authorized al1d he is hereby directed to cause to be placed and maintained "stop Signs" at the following location, towit: (a) Upon the northerly side of LaS 'l'unas Drive at or near the easterly property line of Holly Avenue; (b) Upon the southerly side of Las Tunas Drive at or near the westerly property line of Holly Avenue. SECTION 3. Each of the signs so directed to be placed and main- tained shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in Sectiol1 471 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
