RESOLUTION NO. 1920
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADI~,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE OF MAJOR CITY
STREETS IN SAID CITY. .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the State of California, through its
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented an
agreement for expenditure of gas tax allocation for M~or City
Streets within said City for the 1950 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in
full and is familiar with the contents thereof:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arcadia that said Agreement for expenditure of funds accruing during
the fiscal year ending June 30, 1950, and alloc~ed under the pro-
visions of Section 194 and Section 2107 of the Streets and Highways
Code upon major city streets in said City is hereby approved and the
Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behlaf of said
City of Arcadia.
SECTION 2~ The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was, adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on
the 20th day of September, 1949, by the affirmative vote of at least
three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Klomp, Libby and Russell
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmen Boucher and Nugent
