INTErITION TO CHANGE.THE SET-BACK LINES ON A PORTION OF EL.MONTE AVENUE, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COtn~CIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AfID ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That applications have heretofore been filed with the City Council of the City of Arcadia, requesting a change in the hereinafter described set-back lines, and that the said set-back lines be changed in accordance with said ap- plications and as described in this Resolution. SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience ',- require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to change set-back lines on the following described portion of El Monte-Avenue, a public street in said City of Arcadia, to wit: On the south seventy-five (75) feet of Lot 1 and the west ten (10) feet of the south seventy-five (75) feet of Lot 2, in Tract 6485, as per map recorded in Book 69, page 75 of maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, the set-back lines heretofore established at forty (40) feet shall be changed to and re-established at thirty (30) feet. SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on the sixth day of December, 1949, at 8:00 O'clock P.M. of said day, in the Council Chambers of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia, any and all persons having objections to re-establishment of said set-back lines may appear before said City Council and show cause why said set-back lines should not be changed in accordance with this Resolution. 1. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted along the portions of said street along which it is proposed to change and re-establish said set-back lines, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Bulllietinaa newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desig- nated for that purpose.
