A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE SET- BACK LINES ON PORTIONS OF CHRISTINA STREET, A t'UBLIC STREET IN 'l'HE CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COm~CIL OF 'l'HE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DE~ERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That applications have heretofore been filed with the City Council of the City of Arcadia, requesting a change in the hereinafter described set-back lines. and that the said set-back lines be changed in accordance with said applications and as described in this Resolution. SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to change set-back lines on the following described portions of Christina Street, a public street in said City of Arcadia, to wit: On the northerly and southerly sides of Christina Street, between Santa Anita Avenue and First Avenue, the set-back lines heretofore established shall be changed and established at twenty (20) feet on all properties along the aforesaid public street, such set-back lines as established hereby to be applicable , to and to govern ~he use of such properties whether such properties face or side upon said street. SECTION ~. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, January 3, 1949, ay 8:00 O'clock P.M. of said day, in the Council Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia, any and all persons having objections to said esta- blishment of set-back lines may appear before said City Council and show cause why said set-back lines should not be established in accordance with this Resolution. 1. tf;.i-\;.Q ,,,9 SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted along the portions of said street along which it is proposed to establish said set-back lines, at not more than three hundred (300') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adop- tion of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be pub- lished once in the Arcadia Bulletin, a newspaper of general cir- culation, pUblished and circulated in the City of Arcadia ~nd hereby designated for that purpose.
