A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, DESIGNATING A CERTAIN INTERSECTION OF PUBLIC STREETS IN SAID CITY AS A "STOP" INTERSECTION AND DIRECTIHG THE PLAC- ING AND MAINTAINING OF "STOP" SIGNS AT CERTAIN ENTRANCES THERETO. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY DETERMINE, RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION L. That the following described intersection of certain public streets in the City of Arcadia, under the exclusive jurisdiction of the City Council of the City of Arcadia is hereby designated as a "stop" intersection, in accordance with the provisions of Section 37 of Ordinance No. 728, of the City of Arcadia, to wit: Santa Anita Avenue, at its intersection with Colorado Boulevard. SECTION 2. The City Engineer of said City is authorized and he is hereby directed to cause to be placed and maintained "stop" signs at the following locations, to wit: (a) Upon the southerly side of Colorado Boulevard, at or near the easterly property line of Santa Anita Avenue; (b) Upon the northerly side of Colorado Boulevard, at or near the westerly property line of Santa Anita Avenue. SECTION 3. Each of the signs so directed to be placed and main- tained shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in Section 471 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolut ion. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 7th of February, 1950, by the affirmative vote of at least three Council- men, to. wit: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Councilmen Boucher, None Councilman Libby Klomp, Nugdnt,and RUBsell -~--~-~.=.~.;.~- , -/ , C Y day of February, 1950.
