A RESOLU'rION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DESIGNATING PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET IN SAID CITY AS A THROUGH HIGHYlAY ft~D DIRECTING THE PLACING AND MAINTAINING OF "STOP SIGNS" ON A CERTAIN STREET INTER- SECTING WITH SAID THROUGH HIGHWAY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION li. That the following described portions of a. cer- tain public st;reet in the City of Arcadia is hereby designated as a through highway in accordance with the provisions of Section 23 of Ordinance No. 200 of the City of Arcadia, to wit: El Monte Avenue at its intersection with Las Tunas Drive. SECTION 2. The Chief of Police of said City is authorized and he is hereby directed to cause to be p~aced and maintained "stop Signs" at the following locations, to wit: (a) Upon the easterly side of El Monte Avenue at or near the northerly property line of Las Tunas Dirve: (b) Upon the westerly side of El Monte Avenue at or near the southerly property line of Las Tunas Drive. SECTION 3~ Each of the signs so directed to be placed and maintained shall conform to the requirements of Section 23 of Ordinaace No. 200 of the City of Arcadia, and of Section 47l of the Vehicle Code of tile State of California. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
