A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SET-BACK LINES ON PORTIONS OF BALDWIN AVENUE, FAIRVIffiV AVENUE AND ARCADIA AV~NUE, PUBLIC STREETS IN THE SAID CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CPLIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia has recommended to the City Council of the City of Arcadia that set-back lines be established on portions of BaldY/in Avenue, Fairview Avenue and Arcadia Avenue, being public streets in the City of Arcadia, hereinafter described in this resolution. SECTION a. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to establish se1;-back lines upon portions of Baldwin Avenue, Fair- view Avenue and Arcadia Avenue in the City of Arcadia as follows'; (a) A setback line distant twenty (20) feet westerly from the vlesterly line of Baldwin Avenue from a point distant 238.34 feet northerly from the North- erly line of Duarte Road to the northerly line of the abandoned Southern Pacific R81iroad right of way. (b) A setback line distant fifteen (l5) feet easterly from the ,Easterly line of Baldwin Avenue from a point distant 235.92 feet northerly from the north- erly line of Duarte Road to the northerly line of the abandoned Southern Pacific Railroad right of way. (c) A setback line distant ten (10) feet northerly from the northerly line of Fairview Avenue from a point distant l42.57 feet westerly from the westerly line of Baldwin Avenue to a point distant 176.50 feet easterly from the easterly line of Baldwin Avenue. (d) A setback line distant ten (lO) feet southerly from the southerly line of Fairview Avenue from a point distant 150 feet westerly from the westerly line of Baldwin Avenue to a point distant l50 feet easterly from the easterly line of Baldwin Avenue. (e) Setback lines distant ten (lO) feet northerly from the northerly line of Arcadia Avenue, and distant ten (lO) feet southerly from t he southerly line of Arcadia Avenue, from the westerly line of Baldwin -l- ,,,,,,<;tJ' Avenue to points distant l50 feet westerly therefrom. SECTION 3. Notice is here~ given that on t he 6th day of April, 1948, at 8 o'clock P.M. of said day in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Arcadia, any a nd all persons having any objection to the proposed setback lines may appear before said City Council and show cause why said setback lines should not be established in accordance uith this Resolution. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted along said portion of said street along which it is proposed to fix and establish said setback lines, at not more than three hundred (~OO') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall c ertit'y to the adoption of' this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general cir- culation published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and here- by designated for that purpose. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of' Arcadia, held on the 2nd day of March, 1948, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen, Adcock, Leeper, Nugent, Ormsby and Russell NOES: None ABSENT: Non.e ~ f? ~~.
