HomeMy WebLinkAbout1766 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1766 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE SETBACK LINES ON A PORTION OF DUARTE ROAD, A FUBLIC STREET IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That an application has heretofore been filed with the City Council of the City of Arcadia, requesting a change in the hereinafter described set back lines, and that the said set back lines be changed in accordance with said application and as des- cribed in this resolution. SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to change set back lines on the following described portions of Duarte Road, a public street in said City of Arcadia, and re- establish said set back lines as follows: Upon the east 90.54 feet of Lot 6, Tract No. 4090, as shown on map recorded. in Book 43, page 47 of maps, records of Los Angeles County, the set-back lines shall be changed from fifty (50) feet and re-established at ten (10) feet, six (6) inches. SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on Wed~esday the 2nd day of June, 1948, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, in the Council Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia, any and all persons having objections to said proposed setback lines may appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed setback lines s~ould not be changed in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted along the portions of said street along which it is proposed to chwlge and re-establish said setback lines, at not more than three hundred (300') feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desig- nated for that purpose.
