RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1794
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DE~RING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE SET-BACK LINES ON
PO~TIONS OF HUNTINGTON DRIVE, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE
CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That applications have heretofore been filed with
the City Council of the City of Arcadia, requesting a change in the
hereinafter described set back lines, and that the said set back
lines be changed in accordance with said applications and as des-
cribed in this resolution.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience require
and it is the int'mtion of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
to change set back lines on the following described portions of
Huntington Drive, a pUblic street in said City of Arcadia, and re-
establish said se1;-back lines as follows:

Upon Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Tract 6985/shown on map recorded
in Book 106, at Page 53 of Maps, records of Los Angeles
County, the set-back lines shall be changed from Thirty-
five (35) feet and re-established at fifteen (15) feet.
SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday the 7th day of
September, 1948, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, in the Counci~
Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia,
any and all persons having objections to said proposed setback lines
may appear before said City Council and show cause why said proposed
setback lines should not be changed in accordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause
to be posted along the portions of said street along which it is.
proposed to change and re-establish said setback lines, at not more
than three hundred (300') feet in distance apart, but not less than
three (3) in all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of

SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Arcadia Tribune end Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and hereby desig-
nated for that purpose.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution of Intention
was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Arcadia, held on the 3rd day of August, 1948, by the affirmative
vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
