That the Personnel Board and the City Manager, in cooperation with the administrative staff of the City, have re- , ' , viewed the personnel system of the City of Arcadia and the compensa- tion of all officers and employees of the City of Arcadia and have made their'recommendations thereon. That the City Council has re- viewed the aforesaid recommendations and the subject matter gener- + ally. SECTION 2. That effective July 1, 1958, Section 3 of Resolution No. 2871, entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, AP:pOINTING LAWRENCE E. COOK TO ASSIST THE CITY A~~TORNEY" adopted March 19, 1957, and amended by Resolution No. 2932 on September 17, 1957, be and the same is here- by furtl1er amended to read as follows: "SECTION 3. The compensation for such services shall be ,Six hundred seventy-five and,no/100 dollars ($675.06) per month; said compensation to be paid in equal semi-monthly installments of Three hundred thirty-seven and 50/100 dollars ($337.50) at the times provided for the payment of other regular city employees. Said ap- pointee shall be accorded the same vacation and sick leave benefits as are accorded to employees in the classified service of the City of Arcadia." ... SECTION 5. That effective July 1, 1958, the sum of One hundred fifty and nO/lOO dollars ($150.00) per month be paid to the City Clerk in payment of secretarial or clerical services beyond a~d in addition to the duties of the City Clerk asspecif1ed in the City Charter, rendered to or upon the request of the City Council. SECTION 6. That Resolution No. 3021 entitled "A RESOLU- TION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA; AMEND- ING SECTION 2 OF RESOLUTION NO. 2821; SECTION 2 OF RESOLUTION NO. 2327; AND SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 289B AND CHANGING THE COMPEN- SATION OF THE CITY MANAGER, THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE CITY ATTORNEY", adopted May 26, 1958, is herebyrat1f'ied and re- affirmed. SEC~ION 7. ' ... SECTION 9. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City' of Arcadia held on the 1st day of July , '1958, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Jacobi, Camphouse, Balser, Reibold and Phillips ...
