HomeMy WebLinkAbout3073 RESOLUTION NO. 3073 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, D!~ERMINING AND ESTABLISHING . RElGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO CERTAIN m:AL PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LIVE OAK AVENUE IN ZONE D (ARCHITECTURAL OVERLAY) IN ADDITION TO THE BASIC ZONING APPLICABLE THERETO. ~ SECTION 1. That pursuant to Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia, as &nended, proceedings were duly and regularly held by and before the C:lty Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, as a result of which said Planning Commission in its Resolution No. 308, adopted September 10, 1958, recommended the establishment in Zone D (Architectural Overlay), in addition to the basic zoning of C-2, P and R-3, of the following described property in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, to wit: . Lots 32, 33, 53 and 54, Tract No. 13217, as shown on map recorded in Book 264, pages 26 and 27, of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County; that concurrent with said recommendation, the City Planning Commis- sion further determined and recommended that the restrictions here- inafter provided should be made applicable to each of the foregoing .. .. properties if they be reclassified as therein recqmmended. ....... , SECTION 2. That pursuant to aforesaid Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia, as amended, a public hearing was dUly and regularly held by and before the City Council of the City of Arcadia upon the .aforess,id recommendations of the City Planning Commission, as a result of which the City Council determined that. aforesaid, prop- erty should be established in Zone D :l;n addition to the basic C-2, P and R-3 zoning applicable thereto. . -1- 3073 ,< , ,: " SECTION 3. All conunercial buildings shall face Live. Oak Avenue; b. All businesses conducted on any portion of the above described property shall be conducted wit~in a building; c. ,No ehtrances to buildings from side streets shall be permitted more than. ten (10) feet from the front building line; d, Vehicular access to all, portions of the above de- scribed property shall be by means of the' 'alley heretofore dedicated tp the City of Arcadia in, on, upon an~'ac~os~ ,said ~roperty, e~- tending ,from Third Avenue to Fourth Avepue,asdisti.nguished from access by means of other curb cuts in Live Oak Avenue, 'Third Ave- nue and Fourth Avenue; e. That the alley heretofore dedicated in,. on, upon and across the above described property, extending from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue as well, as those portions of the above described T property heretofore dedicated to ,the City of Arcadia for.-street pur- poses for the widening of Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue, shall be . improved the full length of the respective dedications in accord- ance with City standards prior to or concurrent with the construc- tion of any building upon any portion of.the a,bove described prop- erty; ... .f. All billboards shall be prohibited; g. The parking lot layout, including walls, landscaping and adequate watering system, shall.be in compliance with a.plan to be submitted to and approved by the City Planning Commission; h. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ,of Arcadia, held on the 20th day of January , 1959, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Jacobi, Camphouse, Balser, Reibold and Phillips NOES: None .;-' ABSENT: None ~ ( ~) ~ 'UJ '~/a .
