HomeMy WebLinkAbout2926 RESOLUTION NO, 2926 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AT THE CORNER OF LIVE OAK AND SECOND AVENUE IN THE "D" ZONE (ARCHITECTURAL OVERLAY). THE CITY COUNCIL OF Trill CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That pursuant to Ordinance Nc. 760 of t~e City of Arcadia, as amended, proceedings were duly and regularly held by and before the City Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, as a result of which said PlanninG Commission recommended the reclassifi- cation to Zone "C-I and also Zone D (Architectural overlay) of the following described property, in the City of Arcadia, County of Los . SECTION 2, That pursuant to aforesaid Ordinance No, 760 of the City of Arcadia, as amended, hearings were duly and regularly held by and before the City Council of the City of Arcadia upon the aforesaid recom~endations of the City Planning Commission, as a result of which, the City Council determined that aforesaid property should be reclassified and established in Zone C-2, as requested by applicant, and in Zone D, as recommended by the City Planning Commission, SECTION 3. That for the protection of the residential properties in t~e area, for the integration of subject property with the residential and commercial uses in effect and permissible in the area, and to promote the full and proper utilization of subject pro- p.erty, the following restrictions should be and the same are hereby imposed upon all of the above described property, pursuant to Section 12.1 of Ordinance No, 760, to wit: A. A solid masonry wall' six feet in height, without openings for vehicular traffic, shall be constructed at and alon~ the south line of proposed Tract No, 197~07 ~ f::'om the west line of lot 4, Tract No, 12670, to the west line of Second Ave" except that it shall be four feet in height from the building setback line to the s"reet property line. ofi> B, The parkl'TaY along the proposed new street in proposed Tract No. IS70g1adjacent to said wall shall be land- scaped and maintained and a five foot space along the south side of said wall from the above mentioned pro- posed street to the \'Iest line of lot 4, Tract No. 12670 shall be landscaped and maintained, C, All flood lighting shall be directed mway from adjoining properties, D, The Planning Commission may modify any of the foregoing conditions if such modification will not adversely affect property or improvements in the vicinity and if such modification will equally accomplish substan- t~ally the same results as will the adherence to the foregoing conditions, -2- 2926 .... SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 15ti"'. day of October , 1957, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Camphouse, Jacobi, Phillips, Reibo1d and Dennis NOES: None ABSENT: None SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day , 1957, a ~j~~~ C y C erk -3- 2926
