A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARCAD:r:A, CALIFORN:r:A,
DECLARING THE COSTS AND ASSESSMENTS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS AND
GUTTERS ALONG THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF
CAMINO REAL AVENUE, EASTERLY OF EL
MONTE AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF ARCAD:r:A
TO BE A LIEN UPON THE LOTS AND
PARCELS FRONTING UPON SAID CURBS AND
GUTTERS AND DETERMINING THAT PAY~mNTS
OF SAID ASSESSMENTS MAY BE PAID IN
ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS AND ESTABLISHING
THE RATE OF INTEREST ON SAID DEFERRED
PAYNENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCAD:r:A, CALIFORNIA, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLO'..lS:
SECTION 1. That on the 6th day of August, 1957, the City
Council of the C:Lty of Arcadia directed the Superintendent of Streets
to proceed in the manner prescribed by law to construct or cause to
be constructed curbs and gutters along the northerly side of Camino
Real Avenue, easterly of El Monte Avenue, in the City of Arcadia, as
prOVided for in Chapter 27, Part 3, Division 7, of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to said direction, and in the
manner prescribed by law, the Superintendent of Streets constructed
,
or caused to be constructed said curbs and gutters, and has duly filed
with the City Council a report of costs of said curbs and gutters and
the proposed assessment of said costs against certain parcels and lots
fronting upon the curb and gutter so constructed.
SECTION 3. That when said costs and assessments are ap-
proved and confirmed by subsequent legislative action by this Council
the said costs shall become a lien on said parcels and lots, and a
notice of said lien as set forth in said Streets and Highways Code
shall be forwarded to the Los Angeles County Auditor who shall cause
the same to be en~ered on the tax rolls for collection together with

all other taxes on the same property.
SECTION 4. That payment of all such assessments of fifty
dollars ($50.00) or more may be made in five annual installments,
and that the paJ~ent of assessments so deferred shall, thirty-one
(31) days after confirmation of said assessments by the City Council,
bear interest on the unpaid balance at the rate of six per cent (6;;)
per annum.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held
on the 18th day of March
, 1958, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Councilmen, to wit:
