HomeMy WebLinkAbout2605 RESOLUTION NO,. 2.605 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, SPECIFYING THE COMPENSATION AND DUTIES OF PERSONNEL OFFICER THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That salary schedule No. 82 is hereby asslgned to the posltion of Personnel Officer as created by Sec- tion 801 (0) of the Arcadia City Charter so long as such position is filled on a full time basis and is not combined with any other office or employment in the City. SECTION 2. The duties of the Personnel Officer shall be as follows: a. To undertake the personnel functions of the City ot Arcadia; b. To prepare examinations; c. To advertise opportunities and recruit applicants; d. To prepare job evaluations and descriptions; e. To provide personnel training; f. To perform such other duties and functions as have heretofore been prescribed for the position of Peronnel Clerk. SECTION 3. The qualifications for such position shall be a college education or equivalent, with emphasis upon training in personnel work, administration, and related fields, or related experience which have heretofore been approved by the Personnel Board and the City Council. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
