HomeMy WebLinkAbout2633 RESOLUTION NO. 2633 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR THE RELOCATION OF EXISTING SEvffiR LINES WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOI'1S: SECTION 1. That the public health, welfare and interest require the execution of a contract with the United States of America for the relocation by the City of Arcadia of those existing sewe!' lines required to be relocated by the proposed improvement of the Arcadia Wash Channel from the Rio Hondo Channel to Huntington Place, and the reimbursement of the cost thereof to the City of Arcadia by the United States of America. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are herebY authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Arcadia a contract for such purpose in the form to be approved by'the City Attorney and approved as to content by the City Manager. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of June, 1955, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit: AYES: Couonilmen Dennis, Dow, Hulse and Phillips NOES: None Councilman camPho7 '. l!- ' , Deputy Ci~ of' t~~i: June, 1955.
