HomeMy WebLinkAbout2410 . A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, CREATING THE POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF AND FIRE INSPECTOR. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the efficient and effective conduct of the City government require the creation of the positions hereinafter specified. SECTION 2. That there is hereby created in the Fire Depart- ment of the City of Arcadia the position of Assistant Fire Chief. That schedule 52 of the Official Wage Guide of the City heretofore adopted and the salary range therein provided, to-wit: $350.00 to $411.00, shall apply to said position. That the specifications, qualifications and duties of said position shall be as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. SECTION 3. That there is hereby created in the Fire Depart- ment of the City of Arcadia the position of Fire Inspector. That Schedule 47 of the Official Wage Guide of the City heretofore adopted . and the salary range therein provided, to-wit: $325.00 to $381.00, . shall apply to said position. That the specifications, qualifications and duties of said position shall be as set forth in Exhibit B attach- ed hereto and made a part hereof by reference. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on 4th day of Au>tlIst 1953, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit: .
