A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'l'Y OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING A CERTAIN INTER- SECTION OF PUBLIC S~~rS AS A STOP INTERSECTION AND DIRECTING THE PLACING AND MAINTAINING OF STOP SIGNS THEREAT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY DETERMINE, RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That upon the findings and recommendations of the City Engineer and City Manager of the City of Arcadia, the follow- ing intersection of public streets in the City of Arcadia under the exclusive jurisdiction of the City Council of said City is hereby designated as a Stop intersection in accordance with the provisions of Section 37 ot Ordinance No.728 of the City of Arcadia: For traffic entering or crossing Dexter. Road at its inter- section with Ha1npton Avenue. SECTION 2. The City Engineer of said City is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be placed and maintained Stop Signs at said intersections as follows: (a) Upon the Northerly side of Hampton Road at or near the Easterly line of Dexter Avenue. (b) Upon the Southerly side of Hampton Road at or near the West line of Dexter Avenue. . . . Section 3. Each of the signs so directed to be placed and maintained shall conform with and shall be placed as defined in Section 47l of the Vehicle Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 18th day of August, 1953, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit: t-...
