A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO .ESTABLISH AND RE-ESTABLISH A SETBACK LINE ON A PORTION 0' THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF COLORADO PLACE IN SAID CITY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RE- SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: . SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of said City Council to establish and re- establish a setback line on a portion ot the Northerly side of Colorado Place in said City, to-wit: Parts ot Lot l, Tract No.949, as shown on map recorded in Book 17, Page l3 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, described as follows: PARCEL NO.1. Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 33 tract No.13l54, as shown on map recorded in Book 264, Pages 3 and 4, records of said County; thence South 29-53'09" East 101.13 feet; thence South 35-59'53" West 269.75 teet to the Northeasterly line of Colorado Place; thence Northwest thereon 150 tt. J thtmce N 46-18' 52" East 262.l1 teet to beginning, be- 1ng known as l15 Colorado Place. PARCEL NO.2. Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 33 of said Tract No.13l54; thence South 6- 07'35" East 99.64 feet; thence South 46- 18' 52" West 262.l1 teet to the Northeasterly line of Colorado Place; thence Northwesterly thereon and North- easterly along the Southerly line of San Juan Drive to the point of beginning, being known as 181 Colorado Place. PARCEL NO.3. Beginning at a point in the South line of Colorado Blvd. West thereon 402.82 teet trom the Northwest corner ot Lot 30, Tract No.14745, as shown on map recorded in Book 304, Pages 34 and 35 of Maps, Records of said County' thence Westerly thereon lOO feet; thence South 17- 41' 40" West 235.41 feet to the Northeast line of Colorado Place; thence South 29 29'45" East thereon 350 feet; thence North 0- 41' 43" West 513.38 teet to beginning, being known as 215 Colorado Place. SECTION 2. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the '1st day of December, 1953, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. ot said day, in the City Hall of said City, any and all persons having any objections to the . said proposed setback line may appear before said Council and show . cause why said proposed setback line should not be established and re-efltablished in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 3. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or cause to be posted the notices required by Ordinance No.229 of the City 01' Arcadia. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published once . . -1- "-Y.i',3, . in the Arcadia Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, pub- lished and circulated in the City of Arcadia. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Councilor the City of Arcadia held on the 3rd day of November, 1953, by the aftlrmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to-wit: AYES: Cow~c1lmen Dow, Hulse, Kennett, Nottingham and Schmocker NOES: None .
