RESOLUTION NO. 2463
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF LA CADENA AVENUE AND OTHER
STREETS.
~mEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arcadia, on the
5th day of January ,195~, passed and adopted a resolution approv-
ing a diagram of the property benefited by the preparing of subgrade
and grading necessary for the construction of concrete curbs and
gutters, and the construction of concrete curbs and gutters, and
appurtenant work thereto, as described in Resolution of Intention No.
2400, and
WHEREAS, the assessment for the improvement of La Cadena
Avenue between Fairview Avenue and Huntington Boulevard, St. Joseph
Street between First and Second Avenues, Third Avenue between
Huntington Boulevard and the north line of Tract 6860, Lucile Street
between First Avenue and Santa Anita Avenue, Walnut Avenue between
Baldwin Avenue and Station 12+00, and Walnut Avenue between Station
12+00 and Holly Avenue, in the City of Arcadia, pursuant to Resolution
of 'Intention No. 2400, was filed in the office of the City Clerk of
said city on December 14 , 1953; and
WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said assessment, which
hearing was held on January ,5th, 195~, all written objections,
protests and appeals thereto or therefrom were heard and considered
by said Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the assessment and diagram for the improve-
ment of La Cadena Avenue between Fairview Avenue and Huntington
Boulevard, St. Joseph Street between First and Second Avenues, Third
Avenue between Huntington Boulevard and the north line of Tract 6860,

Lucile Street be'tween First Avenue and Santa Anita Avenue, Walnut
Avenue between Baldwin Avenue and Station l2~OO, and Walnut Avenue
between Station 12~OO and Holly Avenue, in the City of Arcadia,
under Resolution of Intention No. 2400, be and the same hereby is
confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. That all of said protests and objections to
said assessment and all appeals therefrom to said City Council of
every kind or nature be and ,the same hereby are overruled or denied.
SECTION J. That the Street Superintendent shall forthwith
attach a warrant to said assessment bearing the date of this order.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
