RESOLUTION NO. 2470 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTEN- TION TO ESTABLISH AND RE-ESTABLISH A SETBACK LINE ON A PORTION OF GRANDVIEW AVENUE IN SAID CITY. THE CITY COUliCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: . SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Coqncil to establish and re-establish a setback line of fifty-five (55) teet from the center line of Grandview Avenue, instead ot the present setback of tifty (50) feet from the South line of Grandview Avenue in, at and upon the fOllowing property abutting Grandview Avenue in said . City, to_it: Beginning at a point 826.6 teet west of the Westerly line ot Santa Anita Avenue, and extend- ing thence Westerly to the Easterly line of the right-of-way ot the Los Angeles County Flood Control channel of the Sierra Madre Wash at its intersection with the Southerly line of Grandview Avenue,the aame being all property abutting Grand- view Avenue within proposed Tract No. 19739. SECTION 2. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, February 16, 19,54, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, in the Council, Chambers in the City Hall of said City, located at 240 West Hunt- . ington Drive, A:rcadia, California, any and all persons having any objections to the said proposed setback line may appear before said Council and show cause why said proposed setback line should not be established and re-established in accordance with this Resolution. SECTION 3. The Superintendent of Streets shall post ~ cause to be posted the notices required by Ordinance No. 229 of the City of Arcadia. . SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shaJ.l cause the same to be published once -1- 52-'/)"0 . in the Arcadia Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia.
