A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, CONF~rrNG-THE ASSESSMENT
FOR THE IMPROim{ENT OF SANTA CLARA AND OTHER ,
STREETS AND ALLEYS IN. THE CITY.
~mEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arcadia, on the
16th day of February, 1954, passed and adopted a resolution
. approving a diagram of the property benefited by the grading, pre-
paring subgrade, paving, and the construction of concrete curbs,
gutters and aprons and other work appurtenant thereto on Santa Clara
Street between FiI'st Avenue and Second Avenue, Santa Clara Street
from Santa Anita Avenue to First Avenue, alley north of Foothill
Boulevard from Oakwood Drive to First Avenue, alley north of St.
Joseph Street from First Avenue to Station 3+81.69, and alley north
of Fano Street from First Avenue to Second Avenue in the City of
. Arcadia, as described in Resolution of Intention No. 2409; and
WHEREAS, the assessment for the improvement of Santa Clara
Street between First Avenue and Second Avenue, Santa Clara Street
from Santa Anita Avenue to First Avenue, alley north of Foothill
Boulevard from Oab~ood Drive to First Avenue, alley north of St.
Joseph Street from First Avenue to Station 3t81..69, and alley north
of Fano Street from First Avenue to Second Avenue in the City of
Arcadia, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2409, was filed in

the .office of the City Clerk of said city on January 27, 1954
and

WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said assessment, which
hearing was held on February ,16, 1954, all written objections,
protests and appeals thereto or therefrom were heard and considered
by said Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the assessment and diagram for the improve-
ment of Santa Clara Street between First Avenue and Second Avenue,
Santa Clara Street from Santa Anita Avenue to First Avenue, alley north
of Foothill Boulevard from Oakwood Drive to First Avenue, alley north
of St. Joseph Street from First Avenue to Station 3+81.69, and alley
north of Fano Street from First Avenue to Second Avenue in the City of
Arcadia, by the grading, preparing subgrade, paving, and the construc-
tion of concrete curbs, gutters and aprons and other work appurtenant
thereto, under Resolution of Intention No. 2409, be and the same hereby
is confirmed and approved.
SECTION~. That all of said protests and objections to said
assessment and all appeals therefrom to said City Council of every
kind or nature be and the same hereby are overruled or denied.
SECTION 3. That the Street Superintendent shall forthwith

attach a warrant to said assessment bearing the date of this order.
SECTION 4. That the City 'Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of February , 1954.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Arcadia at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 16th day of February , 1954, by the
