A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUfICIL OF THE CITY
OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING A CERTAIN
INTERSECTION OF PUBLIC STREETS AS A STOP INTER-
SECTION AND DIRECTING THE PIACIl'!G AND MAINTAIN-
ING OF STOP SIGNS AT SAID INTERSECTI ON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES
h"EREBY DETERMINE, RESOLVE 1\lm ORDER AS FOLLO\iS:
SECTION 1. That upon the findings of the City Engineer of
the City of Arcadia the following described intersection of cer-
tain public streets in the City of Arcadia under the exclusive
. jurisdiction of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, is here-

by desil~nated as a stop intersection in accordance with the pro-
visions of Section 37 of Ordinance 1'10.728 of the Cit;y of Arcadia,
to-wi t:
For traffic entering or crossing El Monte Avenue at its
interselltion with Duarte Road.

SBCTION 2. The City Engineer of said City is hereby authoriz-
ed and directed 1;0 cause to be placed and maintained Stop signs at
the foll.owing intersections, to-wit:
(e,) Upon the Northerly side of Duarte Avenue at or ne!:.r the
Ee.sterlJ' line of El Monte Ave.;
(b) Upon the Southerly side of Duarte Road at or near the
\iesterly line of El Monte Ave.
SECTION 3. Each of the signs so directed to be placed and
maintained shall conform with and shall be placed as prOVided in
Section 471 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
