Tunas Drive between El j.lonte Avenue and Live Oak Avenue, Florence Avenue between \Ioodruff Avenue and Palm Drive, and La Cadena il.venue between Duarte Road and Fairvie\'l Avenue, all i'lithin the City of Arcadia, by the grading of portions of streets to be improved and by the construction of concrete curbs and gutters and other work appur- tenant thereto as described in Resolution of Intention No. 2287, and .,HUEil.S, the assessment for the improvement of said streets, pursuant to said Resolution No. 2287, \vas filed in the office of the City Clerk of said city on the 20th day of February , 19~, and \1HEHEAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been in accordance with the law, and VffirnREAS, at a public hearing on said assessment, which hearing was held on the l7th day of I>la.rch , 19~, all written objections, ~otests and appeals thereto or therefrom were heard and . considered by said Council; HO\'I, THK~EFORE, the City Council of the City of Arcadia does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That the assessment and diagram for the improve- ment of Las Tunas Drive between El Monte Avenue and Live Oak Avenue, Florence Avenue between Uoodruff Avenue and Palm Drive, and La Cadena .H.venue between Duarte Road and Fairview Avenue by the grading of portions of streets to be improved and by the construction of concrete . curbs and gutters and other work appurtenant thereto under ilesolution \lIg~. .z J,:j"j/ '. , " . , . .( tI! ., -~ of Intention No. 2287 be and the same hereby is confirmed and approved. SECTION 2. That all of said protests and objections to said assessment and all appeals therefrom to said City Council of every kind or nature be and the same hereby are overruled or denied. SECTION 3. That the Street Superintendent forthwith shall attach a warrant to said assessment bearing the date of this order. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
