That this Ci.ty Council of Arcadia, does hereby commend Assemblym~fI John L. E. Collier of Arcadia for his opposi- tion to said Assembly Bill 1082 and for his nay vote in connection fherewith, and expresses its regret that Assemblyman Harvey Johnson, whose assembly area'encompasses part of Arcadia, voted in favor of said Assembly Bill 1082;' Section 3. That the City Council of Arcadia, California does hereby recommend to the home owners and residents who are opposed to nighttime racing or an extension of the racing season, to write to Governor Ronald E. Reagan, requesting the Governor to veto such legis- lation when it is presented to him for signature; Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and ,shall cause copy hereof to be forwarded to the Honorable Ronald E. Reagan, Governor of the State of California, to State Senator H. .~ Richardson, and to State ~ssemblymen John L. E.
