HomeMy WebLinkAbout3856 RESOLUTION NO. 3856 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA CLARA STREET WITH SECOND AVENUE AS A STOP INTERSECTION FOR WEST BOUND TRAFFIC, AND DIRECTING THE PLACING AND MAINTAINING OF A STOP SIGN THEREAT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That upon the recommendation of the Depart- ment of Public Works, after consultation with the Police Depart- ment, the intersection of Santa Clara Street with Second Avenue is designated as a stop intersection for all west bound traffic in accordance with the provisions of Article VII of the Uniform Traffic Ordinance of the City of Arcadia. SECTION 2. The City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to cause to be placed and maintained a stop sign upon the northerly side of Santa Clara Street at or near the easterly side of Second Avenue. SECTION 3. The sign so directed, placed and maintained shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in Section 21355 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California. SECTION 4.
