HomeMy WebLinkAbout3858 RESOLUTION NO. 3858 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF HOLLY AVENUE WITH LEMON AVENUE A FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTION AND DIRECTING THE PLACING AND MAINTAINING OF STOP SIGNS THEREAT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That in accordance with the provisions of Article VII of the Uniform Traffic Ordinance of the City of Arcadia, and upon the recommendation of the Department of Public Works after consultation with the Police Department, the intersection of Holly Avenue with Lemon Avenue is hereby designated as a four-way stop intersection for all traffic entering said intersection from any direction. SECTION 2. The City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to cause to be placed and maintained stop signs at each of the four corners of said intersection. Each of the signs so placed and maintained shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in Section 21355 of the Vehicle Code of the state of California. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
