RESOLUTION NO. 3836 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE SCALE OF PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3734 AND ALL OTHER RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. .~Ad"d ~_ J~<- ~,JIi~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 1773 of the Cali- fornia Labor Code, the following wage scales for the basic trades and subtrades hereinafter set forth are hereby ascertained and determined to be the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality of the City of Arcadia and the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work in said locality. That the rates hereinafter specified shall be applicable as of the date of the adoption hereof, except in such instances as rates or schedules are hereinafter specified to be effective at a date later than the date of the adoption hereof and in such cases the rates shall be effective upon the respective dates hereinafter specified. Per diem wages shall be deemed to include employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation and similar purposes, when the term "per diem wages" is used in any statute applicable to public works.
