HomeMy WebLinkAbout3735 RESOLUTION NO. 3735 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF DEXTER AVENUE AND HAMPTON ROAD AS A STOP INTERSECTION FOR NORTH AND SOUTH BOUND TRAFFIC AND DIRECTING THE PLACING AND MAINTAINING OF STOP SIGNS THEREAT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That upon the recommendation of the Department of Public Works, after consultation with the Police Department, the intersection of Dexter Avenue with Hampton Road is hereby designated as a stop intersection for all north and south bound traffic by the City of Arcadia in accordance with the provisions of Article VII of the Uniform Traffic Ordinance of the City of Arcadia. SECTION 2. The City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to cause to be placed and maintained stop signs at said intersection as follows: a. Upon the easterly side of Dexter Avenue at or near the southerly side of Hampton Road; b. Upon the westerly side of Dexter Avenue at or near the northerly side of Hampton Road. SECTION 3. Each of the signs so directed, placed and main- tained shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in Section 21355 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California. SECTION 4.
