HomeMy WebLinkAbout3663 ~, RESOLUTION NO. 3663 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF EIGHTH AVENUE AND CAMINO GROVE AS A STOP INTERSECTION AND DIRECTING THE PLACING AND MAINTAINING OF STOP SIGNS THEREAT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That upon the recommendation of the Department of Public Works, after consultation with the Police Department, the intersection of Eighth Avenue and Camino Grove is hereby designated as a stop intersection by the City of Arcadia in accordance with the provisions of Article VII of the Uniform Traffic Ordinance of the City of Arcadia, for all north and southbound traffic on Eighth Avenue. SECTION 2. The City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to cause to be placed and maintained stop signs at said intersection as follows: a. Upon the westerly side of Eighth Avenue at or near the northerly side of Camino Grove. b, Upon the easterly side of Eighth Avenue at or near the easterly prolongatj_on of the southerly side of Camino Grove. SECTION 3. Each of the signs so directed, placed and main- tained shall conform with and shall be placed as provided in Section 21355 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held on the 7th day of April, 1964, by the affirmative vote of at least three CounCilmen, to wit: -1- 3663 ".
