HomeMy WebLinkAbout3547-A {/ RESOLUTION NO. 3547-A A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE WITH RESPECT TO ANNEXATION NO. 30 SOUTHEAST ARCADIA (UNINHABITED). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Arcadia adopted its certain Resolution No. 3531 on November 20, 1962, wherein and whereby, among other things, January 2, 1963, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber of the Arcadia City Hall, 240 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, was fixed as the day, hour and place when and where the City Coun- cil of the City of A~cadia would hear protests to the annexation to the City of Arcadia of the territory hereinafter described by any person owning real property within said territory. SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Arcadia, pursuant to Section 35313.2 of the California Government Code, does hereby find and by resolution declare that a majority protest has not been made with respect to the annexation to the City of Arcadia of the territory designated as Annexation No. 30 Southeast Arcadia (Uninhabited) which territory is particularly described and bounded as follows: -l- 3547-A "ANNEXATION NO. 30, SOUTHEAST ARCADIA (UNINHABITED)" TO THE CITY OF ARCADIA Beginning at a point in the southwesterly boundary of the City of Arcadia, as same existed on October I, 1962, said point being at the intersection of the southwesterly line of Clark Street, 50 feet wide, as shown on map of Chicago Park, recorded in Book 30, page 100, of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County and the southeasterly line of Durfee Avenue, 80 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 13286, recorded in Book 268, pages 29 to 32 inclusive, of Maps in the office of said Recorder of Los Angeles County; thence southwesterly along said southeasterly line 628.09 feet more or less, to its inter- section with the southwesterly line of Randolph Street, as shown on map of said Chicago Park; thence southeasterly along the last mentioned line to an angle point in the existing City of Arcadia boundary; thence southeasterly along said boundary, following its various courses and distances to the point of beginning.
