HomeMy WebLinkAbout3281 RESOLUTION NO. 3281 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AT 623 WEST DUARTE ROAD IN SAID CITY IN THE "D" ZONE (ARCHITECTURAL OVERLAY). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia, as amended, .proceedings were duly and regularly held by and before the City Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, as a result of which said City Council determined that the following de- scribed property in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, to wit: The west one-half of Lot 43, Tract No. 3430, as shown on map recorded in Book 42, page 32, of Maps, Records of said County, should be classified and established in Zone C-O, and has further de- termined that the above described property be concurrently established in Zone D (Architectural Overlay) in addition to the aforesaid basic zoning. SECTION 2. That the following restrictions should be and the same hereby are imposed upon and made applicable to the above de- scribed property, pursuant to Section 12.1 of Ordinance No. 760, to wit: a. That twelve (12) feet shall be dedicated for the widening of Duarte Road. b. That thirty (30) feet shall be dedicated for the opening of Arcadia Avenue. c. That all existing buildings shall be removed from the property. d. That any new buildings shall be set back not less than ten (10) feet from the new front property line and said ten (10) feet shall be landscaped and maintained. -1- 3281 -~ l' " e. That signs shall be limited to one square foot of area for each foot of building frontage; all signs to be mounted flat against the building, and no flashing or roof signs to be allowed. f. That all lighting of the area and the buildings shall be directed away from residential property. g. That all plans shall be submitted to the Planning Com- mission for approval as to plot plan, architectural treatment, wall, landscaping and signs before issuance of a building permit. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
