RESOLUTION NO. 4092
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE PERMITS FOR
STHEET SIGNS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager may issue a permit for the
temporary installation and display of signs and banners in public
streets on the following conditions:
1. A permit may be issued for signs and banners at
specified locations which advertise only a community event of a
nonprofit organization.
2. No permit shall be effective until there is filed
with the City a certificate of insurance showing that the City is
insured for bodily injury in the amount of $1,000,000.00 and
property damage in the amount of $50,000.00.
3. The permit shall be for a limited period of time
which shall be stated in the permit.
4. The method of installation shall be subject to
approval by the Department of Public Works.
5. A written application shall be filed with the City
Manager which shall contain the following information:
a. The name of the applicant.
b. A description of the sign or banner and requested
location.
c. The date of installation and removal of the sign.
d. The name, address and telephone number of the
person or company responsible for the installation,
maintenance and removal of the sign.

e. Other information as required by the City Manager.
The City Manager may refer any application to the City Council for
approval.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the.adoption
of this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
held on the 7th
day of October
, 1969, by the affirmative
vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
