RESOLUTION NO. 4099 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA REQUESTING AID TO CITIES GASOLINE TAX FUNDS FROM THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR THE WIDENING OF SECOND AVENUE IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arcadia deems it necessary that Second Avenue, a public street in the City of Arcadia, be widened; and WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has available for use by the City of Arcadia Aid to Cities gasoline tax funds for the improvement of such streets. NOw, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to appropriate from said Aid to Cities gasoline tax funds the sum of '$64,000.00 for the acqujsi- tion of rights-of-way along the easterly side of Second Avenue between Huntington Drive and Bonita Street, for the use for widening of said Second Avenue. SECTION 2. That said rights-of-way shall be used in accordance with the plans and specifications for the widening of said Second Avenue as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Arcadia. SECTION 3.
