RESOLUTION NO. 4003
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING
PURSUANT TO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 8831
RELATING TO THE UNDERGROUND INSTALLATION
OF FACILITIES FOR SUPPLYING ELECTRICITY,
COMMUNICATIONS, ETC.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES DETERMINE
AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, the 21st
day of May, 1968, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. on said da.y, in the Council
Chambers of said City Council in the City Hall, 240 West Huntington
Drive, Arcadia, California, is the time and place set for a public
hearing for the purpose of determining whether the public necessity,
health, safety or welfare requires the removal of poles, overhead
wires and associated overhead structures within the hereinafter des-
ignated area of the City and the underground installation of wires
and facilities for supplying electric, communication, or similar or
associated service within said area. The City Clerk shall notify
all affected property owners as shown on the last equalized assess-
ment roll and utilities concerned by mail of the time and place of
such hearing at least ten (10) days prior to May 21, 1968. All
persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard at
said hearing. Said area is described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line
of Baldwin Avenue and the westerly prolongation
of the northerly line of Camino Real Avenue as
both are shown on the map of Tract No. 5907,
recorded in Book 63, Page 67 of Maps in the office
of the Recorder of Los Angeles County; thence
easterly along said prolongation and northerly
line 100 feet; thence at right angles 60 feet
southerly to the southerly line of sa.id Avenue;
thence westerly along said southerly line to a
line that is parallel with and distant easterly

50 feet from the center line of said Baldwin
Avenue; thence southerly along said parallel line
through its vlrious courses and distances to the
boundary of ohe City of Arcadia in Live Oak Ave-
nue; thence westerly along said boundary to a
line that is parallel with and distant westerly
100 feet from the last said parallel line; thence
northerly along said westerly parallel line to
the southerly line of Camino Real Avenue as shown
on the map of Santa Anita Land Company's Tract
recorded in Book 6, Page 137 of Maps in the office
of said Recorder; thence westerly along last said
southerly line 90 feet; thence at right angles 60
feet northerly to the northerly line of said Ave-
nue; thence easterly along said northerly line to
a line that is parallel with and distant westerly
40 feet from the center line of said Baldwin Ave-
nue; thence northerly along last said parallel
line to the westerly prolongation of the northerly
line of the first mentioned Camino Real Avenue;
thence easterly along said prolongation to the
point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held
on the 7th day of
May
, 1968, by the affirmative vote of
at least three Councilmen, to wit:
