RESOLUTION NO. 4024
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA AUTHORIZING LYMAN H. COZAD,
CITY MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF CIVIL DEFENSE,
AND CATHERINE A. MURPHY, CITY TREASURER AND
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF CIVIL DEFENSE TO
EXECUTE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
OBTAINING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE
FEDERAL CIVIL DEFENSE ACT OF 1950, AS AMENDED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the following named individuals are hereby
authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of Arcadia, a
public entity established under the laws of the State of California,
applications and documents for the purpose of obtaining financial
assistance under the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950, as amended
(Public Law 920, 81st Congress,
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall cause two (2) copies of the same to be
forwarded to the State of California Disaster Office for filing with
said Disaster Office.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held
on the 6th
day of August
at least three Councilmen, to wit:
