A total time of 15 minutes is allotted to these comments, with any individual speaker limited to 5 minutes. The Governing Board may only discuss pre-announced agenda items. It may not enter into a discussion on items not on the agenda, but the Board may respond briefly to statements made or questions posed by the public about items not on the agenda. If you wish to speak to an agenda item, we request that you fill out a "Request to Speak" card (indicating your name, address, and the name of the group represented, if any) and hand it to the Board Secretary. The time allotted to the discussion of any single item is the prerogative of the Board President.
