RESOLUTION NO. 523

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
That that certain Grant Deed, dated May 17, 1929, exe-
cuted by R. McColgan, a single man, granting to the City of Ar-
cadia, a municipal corporation, for road purposes, all that cer-
tain real property situate in the City of Arcadia, County of
Los Angeles, Sta.t eJ of California, and more particula.rly described
in said Grant Deed, be and the same is hereby accepted by said
City of Arcadia.
The undersigned, City Clerk of the City of Arcadia,
does hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of a Resolution adopted by the City Council of the
City of Arcadia, at a regular meeting thereof, held on October
2, 1929.

R. McCOLGAN, a single man, in consideration of Ten
($10.00) Dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant to the CITY OF ARCADIA.
a Municipal gorporation, for public road and highway purposes,
all his right, title and interest in and to all that certain
real property situate in the City of Arcadia, County of LOB
Angeles, State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1: A strip of land One Hundred (100) feet in
width, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeas~erly cor-
ner of Lot 5, Tract No. 9~9, in the City of Arcadia, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 17,
Page 13 of Maps, Records of said County; thence South 380 33'
West along the Easterly line of saidlLot 5 a distance of 63.93
feet; thence West and parallel to the, Northerly line of said
Lot 5 a distance of 20~.56 feet; thence North 100 feet; thence
East and parallel to the South line of Lot 1 of said Tract No.
949 a distance of 284.24 feet to the Easterly line of said Lot 1;
thence South 380 33' West along the Easterly line of said Lot 1
a distance of 63.93 feet to the place of beginning.
ALSO, a strip of land eighty (80) feet in width being
forty feet on each side of the following described center line:
