A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CuUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADL,
AC;CEPTING GRANT Dt,ED FROM EDWARD F. PEER AND ELIZABETH L. PEER TO
CERTAIN R~AL PROPERTY.
THE CITY CUUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOL,S RiS0LVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council
G~ant Deed dated December 24, 1940, executed by Edward F. Peer and
Blizabeth L. Peer, husband and wife, conveying to the City of Arcadia
title to certain real property in the County of Los An,elc.s, State of
California, described as Lot "B" of Tract No. 7465, as per map recorded
in Book 84, Page 98 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
County; together with the southerly forty (40) feet of Dalton Road, now
Live Oak Avenue, seventy-five (75) feet wide, as shown on said map, and
WllI:REhS, this Council deems it to be for the best interest of
the City of Arcadia that said real property be acquired by said City,
NOW, l'lLREFO:Il" ',E IT R1~OL\ED, that said Grant Deed executed
by Edward F. Peer and Elizabeth L. Peer, dated December 24, 1940, convey-
ing to the City of Arcadia the real property described herein, be and the
same is hereby accepted on behalf of the City of Arcadia.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at Bl1 adjourned repular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia,
held on the 27thday of December , 19 40, by the affirmative vote
of at least three Councilmen, to-wit:
