Dear Mr. Helvey:
Please cancel as of the date of recordation of
Grant Deed (April 22, 1983) all taxes on the property described
in the enclosed copy of Deed. The City acquired this property
for the purpose of fulfilling a Housing Element requirement,
and to provide low and moderate income housing to sen~or citi-
zens. The property was purchased with the aid of a Community
Development Block Grant to provide a senior citizen housing
complex and to eliminate existing blight.
There are eight structures on four parcels on sub-
ject property. Each lot has two structures, a single-family
residential unit (875, l,200, l,500, l~800 square feet, res-
pectively), and a detached garage (400 square feet) behind
it.
