by the City of Arcadia by the order or authorization of the City Council of the
City of A,cadia, contained in Resolution No. 2963, adopted January 21, 1958, and

FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, ROBERT FRANKLIN
SMITH, hereby grants to the CITY OF ARCADIA, a Municipal Corporation, easements for
the following described purposes:
Parcel 1
An easement for the installation, repair, and maintenance of sidewalk in, under,
on, upon, over and across the following described property in the City of Arcadia,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, to wit:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 3, Tract No. 950 as shown on map
recorded in Book 17, page 25 of Maps in the Office of the Recorder of
said County; thence southwesterly 101.25 feet along the southerly line of
said lot; thence northerly 4.05 feet parallel with the easterly line of said lot
to the true point of beginning; thence northeasterly 89.71 feet parallel with
said southe~ lot line to the beginning of a tangent curve concave northwesterly
and having a radius of 23.00 feet; thence northeasterly 12.73 feet along said
curve to its intersection with the non-tangent easterly line of said lot, said
intersection being distant northerly 7.51 feet from said southeasterly corner;
thence northerly 8.00 feet along said easterly lot line; thence southwesterly
13.75 feet to a point in the northerly line of the southerly 8.00 feet, measured
at right angles to the southerly lot line, said point being 10.00 feet westerly of
the easterly line of said lot as measured along last said southerly line; thence

An easement for location of traffic signal standard and appurtenances in, under,

Beginning at the southeast corner of said lot 3, thence south 810 west along the
south line of said lot 11.54 feet; thence due north 4.05 feet to the point of
beginning of the curve described in Parcell; thence northeasterly along said
curve 1.75 feet to the true point of beginning; thence north 16028'25" west
1.25 feet; thence north 73031'35" east 2.5 feet; thence south 16028'25" east
1.25 feet; thence south 73031 '35" west 2.5 feet to the true point of beginning.

An easement for construction purposes in connection with installation, repairs,
replacement or maintenance of the traffic signal standards and appurtenances
