For a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, a body corporate and politic, does hereby grant to
the CITY OF ARCADIA an easement for public road and
highway purposes in the real property in the City of Arcadia,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows:
Part A:
That portion of Lot 1, Tract No. 949, as shown on map filed in Book
17, page 13, of Maps, in the office of the Recorder of the County of Los
Angeles, within the following described boundaries:
Commencing at the intersection of the southerly line of that certain
60 foot strip of land described in Parcel G of deed to City of Arcadia,
for Cambridge Drive, recorded as Document No. 3823, on September 10, 1953,
in Book 42647; page 222, of Official Records, in the office of said'Record-
er, with the easterly boundary of that certain 80 foot strip of land de-
scribed in Parcel A of said deed, for Baldwin Avenue; thence South 2042'50"
West along said easterly boundary 73.86 feet to the true point of begin-
ning; thence South 0030'23" West 498.81 feet to the beginning of a curve
concave to the west, having a radius of 1060 feet, tangent to said last
mentioned course and tangent to a line parallel with and 60 feet south-
easterly, measured at right angles, from that certain course of North
28042'50" East 636.93 feet in the center line of that certain 80 foot
strip of land described in Parcel A of deed to County of Los Angeles, for
Baldwin Avenue, recorded as Document No. 2566, on November 29, 1951~ in
Book 37737, page 127, of said Official Records; thence southerly along
said curve to the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 36,
Tract No. 15318, as shown on map filed in Book 427, pages 34 and 35, of
said Maps; thence westerly along said westerly prolongation to said east-
erly boundary; thence northerly along said easterly boundary to said true
point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom those portions thereof which lie within those
certain parcels of land described as Parcels J to 0 inclusive, of said
deed to City of Arcadia.
To be known as BALDWIN AVENUE.
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line of above men-
tioned certain parcel of land described as Parcel J with the easterly

At its meeting held September 30, 1976, the B --a

the following action:

Notice having been duly given, hearing was held
at the time and place regu'larly set to consider
conveying easements over portions of County-owned
property to the Ci,ty of Arcadia, legally'descr ibed in
the atiached Exhibit "A".
An opportunity was given for anyone present to be
'heard. No protests against the proceeding were made
or filed.

On motion of Supervisor Schabarum, seconded by
Supervisor Edelman, duly carfied by at. least a four-
/
fifths vote (Supervisor Hahn being absent), the
hearing was closed; a finding was made that there
is no present or future need by the County for the
property; and the conveying of easements to the City
of Arcadia were consummated; and the Chairman was
instructed to sign the necessary documents.
