This is to certifY'that the interest in real property conveyed or transferred
to the City of Arcadia, a Municipal Corporation, by the deed, grant, conveyance
or instrument dated Aoril 26. 1977 , from or executed
by -San~a Anita Consolidated. Inc. , is hereby accepted
by the City of Arcadia by the order or authorization of the City Council of the
City of Arcadia contained in Resolution No. 2963, adopted January 21, 1958, and
recorded in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County on January 29, 1958,
as instrument No. 3069 in Book 56448, Page 264, Official Records of Los Angeles
County; and the City of Arcadia consents to the recordation thereof by its duly
authorize ficers.

FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
SANTA ANITA CONSOLIDATED, INC., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of
California, hereby GRANTS to the
CITY OF ARCADIA, a Municipal Corporation, a permanent easement for installation and
maintenance of slopes and retaining wall in the following described real property in the
City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California:
A parcel of land in Lot 1, Tract No. 949, as recorded in Book 17 at Page 13 of Maps in the
office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, more particularly described as:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 36,
Tract No. 15318 as recorded in Book 427, Page 35 of Maps in the office of said Recorder,
and the center line of Baldwin Avenue as described in Parcel A of deed to County of Los
Angeles, recorded as document No. 2566 November 29, 1951 in Book 37737 at Page 127 of Official
Records in the office of said Recorder; thence easterly along said westerly prolongation to
the point of intersection with a line parallel with and distant easterly 85 feet at right
angles from said center line; thence southerly along said parallel line 650 feet; thence
westerly at right angles to said center line 10 feet; thence southerly along a line paral-
lel with & distant easterly 75 feet at right angles from said center line 300 feet; thence
westerly at right angles to said center line 10.. feet; thence southerly along a line paral-
lel with and distant easterly 65 feet at right angles from said center line a distance of
500 feet; thence westerly at right angles to said center line 65 feet to the aforementioned
center line; thence northerly along said center line through its various courses and dis-
tances to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion of above described parcel lying within boundaries of land
deeded to the City of Arcadia for Baldwin Avenue.
